Stepped in to restore consistency to the Dev Toolchain team, which was responsible for key enterprise differentiators such as source-control and release pipeline integration. Worked on the App Building team, responsible for what most folks think of as Retool's core product: the app editor experience.Designed solutions, critiqued implementations, and mentored other engineers.

- 2019–2021: Lead for 2/3 of the Benefits Engineering team; my teams were responsible for the full small-group-health-insurance experience: from carrier data ingestion, to employer shopping & employee enrollment, all the way back to carrier fulfillment. Impact of my teams has reduced cost-per-customer and improved customer experience.- 2018–2019: Tech lead and manager for critical maintenance and moonshot experiment teams within the Benefits mission. Constantly worked to obsolete myself by spreading knowledge, best practices, and connections.- 2016–2018: Tech lead and manager for the Benefits Acquisition team; lead the charge on modularization of the product and widening the sales funnel. Kept my hands dirty by continuing to roll our products out to new states, and worked with teams across the technical spectrum to do so.

Responsible for Harvey Mudd's Student association (ASHMC)'s online presence.Developed an entire website -- including robust voting system, content delivery, and twitter integration, among other things -- while working with the Executive Council of ASHMC to develop additional features.Created custom githooks to ease deployments, and set up a staging platform to enable proper testing of new features before greenlighting for production.Negotiated with Harvey Mudd College's Office of Computing and Information Services to migrate servers from student-housed hardware to college-housed hardware, including network interface configuration.Successfully handed off development duties to the next webmaster, too!

As part of the Harvey Mudd College "clinic" program, worked with a team of four other developers to conceive and prototype a new social platform for Amazon's digital marketplace.Used Java and Python to code the project.Primary responsibilities: * writing a testing framework and tests for the project * code refactoring * feature development (Python)
