Hi. I am Ha’ani. In the Chamorro language, Hå'åni means “sunrise.” I chose to start my LinkedIn summary with this fact because I embody my given name’s meaning in every aspect of my life. From personal relationships to professional ones, I can always be counted on to show up, bring a little brightness, and work to achieve a greater purpose. For the last eleven years, I’ve worked in the community arts and culture sector, specializing in roles focused on community engagement, project management, marketing, event planning, and development. I am no stranger to managing creative businesses, planning large-scale events, facilitating community engagement initiatives, directing creative projects, raising funds, writing grant proposals, and achieving company goals in a fast-paced environment. A personal goal of mine was to achieve the highest level of education in the arts and culture sector. I am proud to say that I earned a Ph.D. in Texts and Technology at the University of Central Florida. I am the first Dr. Hogan in my family tree! With my cultural heritage, professional experience, educational background, and unique talents combined, I can assure you that I am unlike any person you’ve ever met. I am an asset to any company and extremely reliable, as sure as the sun will rise. One other thing. There is no other Ha’ani Hogan in the whole world. Go ahead. Google it.
