Our world is changing more than ever before. For 25 years, actively shaping this change for people and society has been a very personal goal for me – and for Telefónica Germany. I am constantly driven by my enthusiasm for the new and by the endless opportunities and possibilities of innovation that benefit each and every one of us. It is my personal aspiration to ensure that Germany does not lag behind in terms of digitalisation. Telefónica Germany is the telecommunications provider that connects most people in Germany. For us, this goes hand in hand with a clear mandate and a high level of responsibility. Here and now, we want and need to shape things in a responsible and realistic manner. Therefore, in my role as CEO, I am committed to fair cooperation, flexibility and a reevaluation on behalf of all parties involved. This requires courage and drive – but now is the time to set the course for our digital future.
