Managed company and project operations for an international development and golf course construction company. Responsible for P&L, estimating, planning, cost, and bidding work as well as administrating all contracts with subcontractors and vendors. Established and implemented all procedures and organizational systems, including Primavera Expedition. Prepared and issued all marketing materials used for business development; hired and placed all personnel, and served as manager for all front-end development, design, engineering and permitting activities for all projects.

Phoenix, Arizona Area

Served as west coast operations manager for a golf course construction company serving as a subsidiary to Jack Nicklaus’ Golden Bear Golf, building Nicklaus designed golf courses and resorts. Established and implemented operations and procedures for a territory covering all states west of the Mississippi and all of Mexico, with project revenues exceeding $43 million. Responsible for division P&L, marketing, budgets, contracts, procurement, project billings, accounts receivable, estimating, planning & scheduling, personnel, procedures development and implementation, and business development.

July ’96 thru Dec ’96 - Last Assignment with Parsons International Ltd. in the Philippines as a project engineer assisting the Greater Manila area manager; oversaw commercial projects that included a light rail station development, three multi-level office towers, and two townhouse/office tower complexes. Duties included project management, planning/scheduling, manpower coordination, contracts administration, vendor and contractor screening, project budget management, QA, and safety procedures. Mar. ’93 thru June ’96 - Previous assignments included the Kuwait Oil Company Project, working 30 months in Ahmadi, Kuwait as a field estimator, contracts administrator, and materials and procurement coordinator on LSTK and FPLS projects, working on-site in gas-oil separation plants and on major crude line systems. Feb ’92 Thru Mar. ’93 - Performed scheduling, estimates, material takeoff, spec writing, field surveys and requisitioning for crude oil production maintenance projects at the Mobil Oil Refinery site in Torrance, CA. Mar ’90 thru Feb ’92 - First assigned to the Saudi ARAMCO Southern Section Facilities Project, located in Pasadena, CA. Worked as a piping materials sub-job leader and wrote specs.
