Azizi Developments is a leading developer based in Dubai, UAE. With over 11,000 residential units sold and thousands of homes successfully delivered to local and international investors and end users, their portfolio includes mega townships like Azizi Riviera in Meydan, Afra in Jabal Ali Region and currently undergoing Azizi Venice in Dubai South. In my role here as a Design Manager, I am managing projects numbering around 15, where some of them in Design and approval stages and some other in construction stage. In a typical work day, my role roles around managing both in-house design team including Architects, Interior Designers, Structural and MEP Engineers and out sourced subconsultants starting from preparing RFPs, evaluating their Proposals, assisting Procurement team in appointing them, doing design review, managing their deliveries coordinating with other stakeholders like contractors, supervision team, vendors etc., managing authority approval process, releasing IFCs. Working in this firm, gives me a challenging environment to drive the projects in a very tight schedule within a stipulated budget, while still maintaining the utmost quality delivered in a professional way.
