• Trade booking/amendments and trade settlements.• Position (Trading account) reconciliation, flagging and Categorization.• Trade reconciliations and followup with internal and external counterparties.• To ensure accurate posting of Corporate Actions in both Front and Back Office systems.• Timely investigation of trade processing exceptions. • Following up, confirmation matching and chasing internal customers as well counterparties in case of queries.• Performing investigation in settlement discrepancies and related outstanding issues.• To ensure timely settlement of all the trades carried out by traders in International markets.• Undertaking ad-hoc tasks and special assignments• To Identify efficiency improvements in all operational aspects of the business.• To Partner with traders, technology, financial control and other partners to resolve all breaks and issues on a timely basis. • An absolute focus on risk controls. Responsible for reconciling and accurately representing traders’ positions. The tolerance for error or delay is very low to zero.• Establish and enforce detailed escalation procedures and practices.• Being the first point of escalation, monitor and if necessary takeup the issue to resolve on priority.• Periodical review of SLAs, training documents and quarterly review of skills depth chart.• Build an effective team.• Motivate, coach, and retain staff, limiting staff turnover as much as possible.• Ensure timely, accurate and complete communications between the Mumbai center and trade support groups and other operations/finance/IT/business teams in the various offices.• Assist in some aspects and lead the transition of functions from global Morgan Stanley locations.
