I was responsible for efficiently and effectively managing and implementing IFRS changes within Atherton, including the implementation of IFRS 15 Revenue recognition and IFRS 16 Leases within our ERP system. This also involved educating our wider team around the effects of the new revenue recognition standards and requirements for recognising leases. As well as managing the project team that upgraded our ERP system to automatically recognise revenue in accordance with the new standard.

Real Time Learning’s (RTL’s) purpose is to support schools in expanding their capacity to deliver stimulating, enriching, and future-focused STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) learning experiences by establishing significant partnerships with industry and the tertiary sector.

The ORA is an incorporated association that works in an integrated way with Ruyton to support the school through bursaries and investments. We provide a range of alumnae services and activities, including reunions, professional networking and mentoring opportunities. The current Committee includes Old Girls from the 60s, 70s, 80, 2000s and 2010s. General committee members contribute to the direction and management of the ORA and work collaboratively to facilitate the delivery of our programs and activities.An education at Ruyton, is more than academic learning. The connection to the school, the values, the friendships and fond memories endure a lifetime. Our former students, our Alumnae, are known as Old Ruytonians and may be any student who has attended Ruyton for all or part of their education. I worked on various projects and filled in when employees took extended leave.
