I am an experienced cyber security professional with a passion for automation and pentesting. Having initially started my career in late 2017 with a degree in Ethical Hacking from Abertay, I moved into a junior security role within a large logistics company. From there, I was able to learn from various senior members and develop my own skillset both within and outside working hours. I completed my OSCP in 2020, and due to having a strong programming background decided to have a go at the OSWE in 2021, which I passed after a gruelling 72 hour exam (no typos here!). In 2021 I was also given the opportunity to lead the operational side of a SNOC based in the UK and India. This allowed me to obtain valuable leadership skills, as well as continue to improve my technical capabilities. Most recently, my focus has been on secure automation, penetration testing and understanding the current security landscape. I am also interested in learning more about Artificial Intelligence models, such as LLMs and LDMs.I believe my value comes from my wide technical skillset and ability to convey complex issues in simplistic ways.
