I served as a Team Leader for the Ambassador Program at John Brown University. My primary responsibilities as a Team Leader were to recruit and lead a team of ambassadors in welcoming visiting students.I set a positive example by regularly hosting visitors overnight and showing them the culture of John Brown University. In addition, I often ate lunch with visitors and took them to and from class. It was my responsibility to be the face of John Brown University and to answer any questions that visiting students and families had.

I led the Shredify project for Enactus JBU. Shredify is a local, document destruction business located at the Adult Development Center in Siloam Springs. Shredify safely and securely shreds paper, but what makes Shredify unique is that it employs adults with disabilities. These adults cannot find work outside the Adult Development Center. Shredify gives these adults not only financial compensation, but also a sense of meaning and purpose each and every day.In 2014, I helped start Shredify and build the business from the ground up as I served as a team member for the Enactus project. I returned to the project in 2016 in order to initiate the expansion and advancement of Shredify by leading a team of seven to pursue and secure more customers.

As Vice President of Enactus JBU, I worked on a team of four officers to lead 50-60 Enactus club members. My primary responsibility was to recruit and retain high quality talent. I planned and coordinated various club-wide social events to encourage relationships and team unity. Other responsibilities included working with the officer team as a whole to advance our projects and make a difference in the community both local and abroad. At the end of the year, Enactus JBU finished second in the nation at the National Competition.

As a Boat Driver at Pine Cove, my primary responsibility was providing a safe atmosphere for campers to enjoy water activities. As I worked with a team of fifteen boat drivers, we not only led campers though daily activity classes on the water, but we did all the regular cleaning and maintenance on the boats. When I was not on the water or on the dock, I worked in camp to prepare and clean up meals, sit in on bible studies, and provide assistance to the various camp needs.
