DevCareer is one of the largest tech Non-Profit organization that's focused on supporting upcoming developers with resources to excel into World Class in Africa. Underdeveloped African countries are lacking when it comes to adequate resources to dive into Tech. DevCareer is focused on supporting this group of people.My roles: Setup and headed a nonprofit campaign that has raised $230,000 in cash donations and $10,000 in asset donations from various software developers and companies around the world within 3 months.Expanded a non-profit program to 5 states in Nigeria and 3 other African countries.Recruited over 20 volunteers from different Countries to facilitate and manage the various sections of the program. Volunteers who mentor and write curriculums for the selected candidates. Volunteers who organize candidate grading and are available to travel for physical interviews in various states. Volunteers who review curriculums and access mentors. Volunteers who assist in facilitating the program daily, checking in on candidates and relating with mentors.Along with the program manager, managed and reviewed the Interviews for over 100 candidates across 4 Countries (Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana and Zambia) in various fields like Frontend, Backend, Data Science and Android development.Set up a remote learning structure among candidates and mentors around the world.Created and maintained a partnership with 10 tech hubs, and 3 companies in 4 Countries.
