These include schemes within the Education; Children, Young People and Families; Culture and Leisure; and Waste and Recycling directorates. I work closely with Cabinet Members, Councillors and Journalists, as well as members of the Marketing and Communications, and Corporate Services teams.

Responsible for all Corporate Communications including Press and Media, Research Communications, Alumni Relations and External Partnerships, it is my responsibility to elevate and manage the external profile of the University. Working within the Marketing and Communications team, I have management responsibility for the Alumni Relations Officer, Communications Officer and Events Coordinator, and work closely with the Executive Team, Senior Management and external partners to support communications across the University.

Raising the external profile and elevating the reputation of Leeds Trinity University by writing engaging press releases and liaising with regional, national and specialist sector journalists. Working within the Marketing and Communications Department, I work closely with the Senior Communications Officer, Director of Marketing and Communications, and the Executive Team to support communications across the University.

Responsible for promotion and marketing of a multi-million pound sustainable transportproject in Lincoln, I was the lead strategic communications officer; managing all onlineand offline communications.This included writing press releases, updating and maintaining social media channelsand our website, issuing newsletters, managing marketing campaigns, organisingevents, managing projects, designing promotional material and keeping everyone upto date.During this role, I was given responsibility for a small project team and an assistantcommunications officer.

Responsible for the promotion of sport and activity in Lincolnshire, I was responsible for communicating to our staff, partners and the public. This was achieved through writing press releases, newsletters, video, social media, website, marketing campaigns, events and project management. I liaised with journalists locally and regionally to gain maximum PR coverage for the charity, and increased the organisation's press coverage by 500% between 2010 and 2012. Clear marketing and communications plans were written and implemented, including a specific marketing project in partnership with NHS Lincolnshire to promote six different activity projects across the county. This included new promotional marketing material, an advertising campaign and featured content for websites, blogs and press releases. During my role at Lincolnshire Sport, I was also heavily involved in the Lincolnshire Steering Group for the 2012 Games. This included liaising with many external stakeholders including local authorities, University of Lincoln, HE/FE establishments, sports authorities and more. As part of this, I managed a project for the Egyptian Paralympic Team to use Lincolnshire as a one-week training camp prior to the London 2012 Games, for 50 athletes and coaches. It was my responsibility, with two colleagues, to organise accommodation, food, training facilities, welcome events, press open days and a team of 75 volunteers for the training camp.
