I am an Accounting Major expecting to finish in May 2025 and I am looking for either an internship in my field or full-time work while in school. Accounting was a subject I was always interested in, and I never further explored accounting until the decision to get my second bachelor's degree. Once I started the trek for this degree, I understood the materials quickly, and I enjoyed doing the work and learning mandatory to further my education. Accounting just makes sense to me, and I am enthralled to begin my career right after graduation or with an internship until graduation.I currently work in banking, and my banking career has just furthered my interest in my accounting degree. While I love the work I currently do, I am ready for new challenges and job duties in my career. I hope I am able to do an internship before I graduate so that I have a better understanding of what I want to do in my accounting career.I don't have much time outside of class and work to be more involved on campus, but I do strive to do volunteer work in my community when I am able to. I like to walk dogs at my local shelter, and I help with the local theater shows.
