I built a supportive environment for staff and students while guiding curriculum development across grades 5-8 and leading a team of 8 educators. I collaborated with leadership to refine vision for the Judaic Studies curriculum. I also served as Bible Department Head.DEVELOPED AND ENHANCED PROGRAMMING TO STIMULATE LEARNING.► Developed rigorous student teaching exchange program for undergraduate students from Israel, creating a partnership providing education for participants at Kennesaw University and cultural education for students. ► Revamped Judaic Bible program to increase its effectiveness, success led to expansion across other grades. Sought out and completed training as well as guided program implementation to provide benchmarks and aid in student learning. ► Attained grant funding that promoted learning & development by enhancing classroom environments after purchasing seating that replaced individual desks to facilitate group learning. BOOSTED ENGAGEMENT AND PROMOTED POSITIVE ATMOSPHERE.► Created positive school and classroom environments to support students after being selected as district trainer for Tribe Learning Communities; led implemented philosophy across middle school and trained staff.► Promoted positivity and culture of success after launching school-wide agreements to spearhead attentive listening, mutual respect, appreciation, and self-reflection. ► Recruited speakers to communicate background and bring history to life for students (Israel’s first Olympic medalist, military commander involved in Operation Entebbe), providing memorable learning opportunities.
