These include: - Optimal exploitation of sustainable material available on site and scavenged- Optimal increase of a structure's efficient energy use via bio-climatic design- Total integration of a structure into its urban environment - The intent to craft a unique "atmosphere" for each project, all the while taking into account the socio-cultural context From 2011 to 2016 The office got commissioned for multiple residential projects in Lebanon.In 2016, Nizar participated in a workshop on a desert island in Indonesia with Earthship biotecture and their founder Michael Reynolds. In just one month they completed the construction of a bungalow from A to Z made out of repurposed tires and glass bottles.In Fall 2017 the construction of the Lifehaus Baskinta has been launched. It's the first sustainable self-sufficient construction in the middle east designed to lower the construction carbon footprint, while using local natural and repurposed materials, merging traditional construction techniques with cutting edge eco-friendly scientific knowledge.Since then Nizar got commissioned for multiple Lifehaus projects by different NGOs (UNDP, LMT, Ardkon) and individuals (Li, Carter, Guitta Bed & Bloom etc.).The Lifehaus got a big coverage from local and international medias (World Economic Forum, Forbes, Reuters, Deutsche Welle, Der Spiegel, Inhabitat, Sky News Arabia, Al Arabia, Al Arabi, Radio Dubai, Alhurra, Leroy Merlin, L'Orient le Jour, Al Nahar, LBCI, New Tv etc. etc.).
