Work place : Salam center for cardiac surgery. Khartoum, Sudan. Scope of the position :Assisting patients providing rehabilitative counselling and care pre and post-surgery. Apply Emergency protocols and guidelines. Tasks and responsibilities :1- Promoting an environment that enables patient's safety, independence, quality of life, and health implementing all necessary actions such as infection control practices, bed sores prevention practices and maintaining high level of hygiene also ensuring physio material are properly stored and cleaned. 2- Undertaking a comprehensiveand accurate assessment of patients in a variety of settings and a specific chest assessment. 3- Providing physio treatments to achieve identified outcomes and monitoring patients' condition (both for in patients and out patients if needed). 4- Performing all the tasks related to the Physio Competence Framework, e.g. 6 minutes test, chest treatment and mobilization techniques.

Worked on a research project with two other physio fellows about effect of Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation on painful crisis of sickle cell anemia patients. 1- Applications of TENS on determined site of pain in each session.2- Tracking the improvement of pain before and after application of TENS through using (VAS) visual analog scales.3- Tracking improvement of patient's ADL before and after each session. 4- Monitoring consumption of analgesics and opioids while applying Transcutaneous Electrical Neural Stimulation each session.

Worked in physical therapy department and delivered the following responsibilities :1-Intervening in setting up the treatment plan for patients.2-Rehabilitation for a number of neurological conditions, as well as orthopedic and pediatric cases.3-Followed up on improvement in cases.4-Writing medical reports for each patient.5-Teach patients as well as their families on a home exercise program.

I spent a training period started from March 2019 until February 2020, at my university hospital (Al-Mogran teaching hospital) in khartoum, Sudan. I worked in the following physical therapy departments :1- Neurological department :Rehabilitation of stroke cases. 2- Orthopedic department. In each department :- I helped in assisting in the management plan for each patient I worked with.- Observation for each case.- Follow up on each patient condition.- Patient and family education.- I put my maximum efforts on improvement of each patient condition with great results.
