My interest in various subjects has always been something very polar to me. As an undergraduate, besides my degree, I represented the university of Sydney in the martial arts discipline of taekwondo at national competitions. On the social and community space, I cofounded a club based on sharing Islamic knowledge called 'Hikma' and finally, I also got to partake in formal language tutoring for colleges on campus. As for my professional career path, I chose to come back to west africa as Ivory Coast was indeed the place where my family had established a business group since the early 80s. In late 2015, I was given the chance to manage one of the group's companies: "64 Construction". Without any kind of experience at hand in the construction field, I not only needed to learn about what this profession was in practice but also had to manage people and projects on an ongoing basis. I thus had to constantly teach myself while keeping up with operations. Definitely being one of the most challenging experiences I had ever been through, it clearly shaped the way I think about business operations today. On a more personal level, living abroad in multiple places not only shaped my adaptation skills to different life habits and customs by giving me the skills to comprehend and adapt to various unexpected and unfamiliar situations. Coming from various cultural environments and having lived in five countries up to this date, I not surprisingly do have a strong interest in multicultural exchange as well as foreign languages. Today, I have reconverted myself in the entrepreneurship world and get personally involved in my projects as I believe passion and hard work is the key to success. My first project, 'The West Factory' is a surfboard factory in Abidjan working towards spreading surf culture in west africa. Today, I am mainly focused on my second personal project whith 'Café Continent', a roastery and specialty coffee shops that aims to give Ivorian and African coffee their true value.
