About Hadi Kasasbeh
I have a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering with an emphasis on wireless telecommunications. Currently, I work as an RF research engineer at AeroDefense LLC. My work targets the area on detecting and localizing malicious drones (UAS) and their controllers. I've been in research since 2013. My research experience is in the area of PHY-MAC layer design with 11 published papers (4 Journals, 5 conferences, and 2 posters) in well-established IEEE transactions journals and conferences. My research is in the areas of spectrum sensing, distributed detection, LTE, WiFi, Cognitive Radio, and Wireless Sensor Networks. I'm interested in solving problems related to resource allocation, optimization, channel assignment mechanism designs, MAC protocol designs, and designing distributed detection and spectrum sensing systems in an environment of correlated sensor observations.
