Asb Treasurer
Allocated a $40,000 budget for the 2022-23 term, responsible for managing finances for schoolwide operations, sports, and clubs, ensuring that all expenses and revenues are accounted for through the school year. Under this role, I implemented new budgeting strategies to streamline the financial processes of ASB. I work closely with our financial Accountant and respected commissioners to plan and execute successful meetings to overlook all fundraisers, purchase orders, fund transfers, and reimbursement requests on a weekly basis. Financial reports are prepared and presented to school administrators each month. In conjunction with ASB, I also serve as chairperson of the Finance Committee for all of student government. Under my term, financial standing has increased by 175% through such efforts.Beyond financial management, I collaborated with 8 designated committees, leading a 60-person student government to execute engaging events that promote school spirit and unity on our campus, representing over 2100+ studentsThrough my experience as ASB Treasurer, I have developed valuable skills in budgeting, effective communication strategies, and a keen eye for detail. Allocated class funds for the 2021-22 term. I was responsible for managing budgets, fundraisers, and planning of events for the class of 2023. Coordinated 400+ students in homecoming preparations, worked alongside ASB Treasurer to manage funds, and managed all social media accounts for the junior class. As the VP of Competition for DECA for 2 year-long terms, I've had the opportunity to lead and mentor students in the areas of Business Administration, Project Management, Law and Ethics, Human resources, and Research Operations. I work closely with competitors throughout the summer term in the form of workshops, and during the school year, to help them construct business portfolios for their designated categories on a bi-weekly basis. Organized, executed, and judged at our chapter’s first Mini Competition. In my role, my priority is ensuring that our Mountain House chapter is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed at all of our development conferences. Through my mentorship, I have inspired and guided students to achieve great success in competition. Many of the students I managed went on to become finalists at regional (Norcal) and state (SCDC) levels. During both terms, our chapter has continued to break records for event recognition, and we have seen a significant increase in International (ICDC) qualifiers by 140%. As a competitor myself, I have had the privilege of competing for the past three years in areas including but not limited to Management, Entrepreneurship, and Sports and Entertainment marketing. My team and I were the first to represent the Mountain House chapter by gaining International recognition on stage as finalists for Project Management in 2022, and we will continue to represent our chapter at 2023 ICDC. These experiences have not only honed my skills in the areas of business and competition, but also taught me valuable lessons in teamwork, leadership, and perseverance.Overall, my experience as VP of Competition for DECA has provided me with invaluable skills in project management, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving. It has also allowed me to leave a positive impact on our rapidly growing chapter, helping students to achieve their goals one-on-one in the world of business and competition.

As elected Treasurer for two consecutive terms, I managed the Mountain House Mock Trial team's finances and ensured that all expenses were accounted for.
