I lead the mechanical sub-team focused on designing a Francis turbine for a Pumped Hydro Storage (PHS) system, accounting for factors like head and flow rate, while ensuring integration with key dam components such as fish passages and penstock. I collaborate closely with Electrical, Civil, and Industrial Operations Engineering leads to manage the team and deliver a system capable of generating 1 kW of power.

At Advance Auto Parts, I underwent comprehensive training on car parts and customer service, which provided detailed knowledge of various components and how to effectively present them to customers. Working with an amazing team, I developed strong communication skills and learned how to turn customer challenges into positive experiences before leaving our store. This transformative role helped me grow personally and professionally, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn more about cars, and make a difference in customers' day-to-day lives!

During my co-op in the Engineering Department, I worked on creating a comprehensive manual for VEX EDR robotics, which was later used by students in the Intro to Engineering course. This project involved researching, building, and programming the robots while balancing my co-op duties with academic responsibilities. Furthermore, I regularly communicated with my supervisor and faculty to gather feedback about my progress, and provided weekly progress reports.
