I believe that no matter where you come from or what you look like, EVERYONE deserves a good education.

During my current employers summer school program and after school hours, I am in charge of one of the three busses and groups. We take our students to field trips daily during our summer school program and I am responsible for the welfare of the students in my bus whilst on the bus and during our field trips.

- Supports students in their learning either in person or on computer as directed by the teacher- Pulls students out if they are struggling with subjects and try to explain the lesson to the student in a more individualized manner- Helps teacher prepare resources that are beneficial to the progress of the students- Responsible for students when teachers call out sick or are away for a given time- Supervises children when they are at recess, afterschool hours, and summer time programs

- Assisted adults with disabilities by teaching them multiple tasks including how to ride the bus, pay for groceries, and count monies- Helped improve social skills by accompanying individuals go to movie theaters, bowling alleys, and libraries- Developed individuals educational and work goals by joining them for their college classes and jobs- Recorded individuals progress and setbacks - Recommended and helped implement adjustments to their daily routines, work schedule, and social interactions based on the progress of the individuals under my supervision

- Answered phones and helped customers by inputting customers personal information into our system, enrolling a customer into a specific class, or answer questions about an assortment of city events and or rentals- Received and processed mail that the city receives and delivered our mail to the appropriate post office - Completed a wide variety of assignments that were given to me by supervisors which include ordering supplies for different city sites, calling other cities and inquiring about their programs, and assisting with the cities Volunteers in Action and Leaders in Training programs - Collected payment from customers who want to register for a class or rent a city site- Assisted with the cities historical society by leading tours of different historical sites and conducting research on an assortment of key eras in the city of La Mirada’s history- Created and maintained city files through Microsoft Excel or paper folders- Designed city flyers for new and returning classes or events- Used Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word as well as a copier and scanner to connect with both patrons and coworkers

- Managed students during morning hours of operation- Oversaw weekly swimming activities during the afternoon hours of operation- Singularly collected payments for various student trips and activities- Handled parent questions and complaints while avoiding escalation of problem
