About Hadley Dixon

👋🏼 Hello! I'm Hadley Dixon, a graduate data science student at the University of San Francisco. I completed my undergraduate in data science also at USFCA, and in May 2024, received the "Senior Leadership Award" from my university. 📚 I'm interested in data ethics, civil rights, and accountable technology. In my role as a Data Scientist at the ACLU, I am using computer vision and NLP to investigate 4th Amendment violations in Northern California. Additionally, I have conducted research into the ethical AI use surrounding data privacy, algorithmic bias, and transparency for the The Center for AI and Data Ethics at the Data Institute in San Francisco. 💻 I am thoroughly experienced in Python, R, Java, SQL, machine learning, and statistical modeling, guided my by mentors, specifically during my time at the Data Institute and in AGI Club. My 7+ years of leadership experience helps me excel on teams and effectively communicate across a wide variety of domains.🏅 Additionally, I founded and lead a student-athlete organization of 200+ members, which has been awarded both the 2024 "Event of the Year" and the 2023 "Emerging Undergraduate Organization" awards, and holds daily meetings and hosts annual community-wide events.
