As Director of Development, I was responsible for administering and supporting the Synagogue’s principal fundraising efforts, including the annual Kol Nidrei Appeal, the annual Gala, and all other ongoing development opportunities including the management of 30+ restricted funds. This was a Senior Staff position and I managed a team of three. I work closely with the Executive Director, Senior Rabbi, members of the Board of Trustees, as well as many volunteers.

At St. Anne's my work focused primarily on rebranding our annual fundraising effort into The St. Anne's Campaign. This work included a new logo that speaks to St. Anne's mission of educating minds, enriching hearts, and expanding horizons; a more streamlined annual report focused around a central theme; solicitations that are segmented to our constituent's specific interests; and implementing direct response marketing strategies. This work occurred alongside management of all day-to-day aspects of the St. Anne's Campaign including but not limited to: writing and designing all written material, performing data analysis, planning events, leading committee meetings, and managing volunteers.

While still performing my previous Stewardship Manager duties, I also began to serve as the liaison between St. Bart's and three affiliated 501(c)3 organizations - Crossroads Community Services, which provided direct services to New York City's homeless population, the Mid-Manhattan Performing Arts Foundation which staged musical performances, and the St. Bartholomew’s Conservancy which maintained our landmark building. I continued to work remotely for St. Bart's after my family relocated to Denver, CO from June to December 2016.

I managed the annual Stewardship Campaign, which exceeded dollars raised and donor participation goals for the first time in church history in 2014 - my first year on the job. I also oversaw the day-to-day operations of a $6 million Capital Campaign which reached its goal in December 2015. For both initiatives, I was responsible for directly soliciting major donors (and received multiple seven-figure gifts). In this role, I supervised one Development Associate and 20+ volunteer solicitors.

I oversaw management of Alumni involvement in Annual Fund, including the coordination of all solicitation efforts, while also assisting the Chief Development Officer in the growth of The Tower Society, Riverdale's elite giving group.

While still performing my previous Development Associate duties, I also became responsible for preparing all data points for the Development Director’s meetings with the Board of Directors and members of the Senior Leadership team.

I assisted in the development and execution of the Himan Brown Lecture Series, which included President Bill Clinton as its inaugural speaker. I also maintained all donor information while planning donor events including leadership groups, cocktail receptions, and mission trips to Cuba and Israel
