I am a fourth-year student at the University of Florida pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations with a concentration in Business. I expect to graduate in the spring of 2025. I constantly seek to foster my ever-growing communication skills through leadership roles in various organizations. Due to my struggles to adjust to UF, I am deeply committed to transitional roles that work directly with incoming students. As a Preview Staffer at UF, I was able to mentor new students academically and socially through their introduction to college. I also act as a Florida Cicerone, the official student ambassadors of the University of Florida. Cicerones serve the Office of Admissions to facilitate campus tours, the Office of the President to host esteemed guests during presidential events, and the UF Athletic Association to host prospective recruits. I enjoy being the first face that many students see when visiting UF. These two roles prepared me for my job in the Student Activities and Involvement Office as a Student Engagement Ambassador. Within this position, I am able to help connect students to organizations on campus that can foster their passions and strengths throughout their UF experience.All of these positions have shaped my perspective on UF and given me confidence in my leadership abilities. These skills will be able to help aid me in my future endeavors. I plan to receive my Master of Mass Communication degree from UF after finishing her undergraduate degree. With this experience, I hopes to continue her career in communication as a communications coordinator.
