I generated outsourced business for a call centre and helped implement internal systems to improve functionality and effectibility in the workplace. I also assisted with the marketing strategy/optimisation to increase company brand awareness in the marketplace. My duties were to bring in new outbound/inbound B2B, B2C business. I sourced new opportunities and deatl with proposals and terms, as well as the negotiation of cost models and SLAs with autonomy. I managed accounts during their existence, priding myself on excellent customer relations. I oversaw all campaigns and closely liaised with clients throughout the whole process.

My duties included maximising business opportunities with preferred brokers, co-ordinating very high value corporate insurance quotes, liaising with underwriters from various profit centres, building client relationships, qualifying opportunities, up-selling products. I utilised a bespoke computerised quote logging system and ensured deadlines and targets were met. I helped to increase turnover in all six profit centres each year.

I was responsible for the recruitment and training and workload for a team of 10 corporate direct sales executives. I conducted team meetings and appraisals, set and monitored individual targets, coached personnel and ensured compliance with company standards.My team surpassed monthly targets on a regular basis,I presented employee company benefits in the workplace before promotion to Area Manager in 2002. I was awarded the National Sales Executive of the Year 2002.
