Graduated from Alabama State University in Montgomery, Al in May of 2019 where I received my Bachelor's in Social Work. Interned at a private practice at Haven Integrative Therapy for six months working with adults and adolescents in mental health field. Started working at New Horizon Behavioral Health for 2 years in adult mental health as an intensive case manager. Worked with adults who had serious mental illness to meet the needs of individuals transitioning out of higher level of care and to prevent the need for future inpatient care Recently received my Master's Degree at The University of Alabama in Social Work with concentration in Children & Adolescents with Families. Interned at The Department of Human Resources working with children, adolescents and their families who are in foster care, child protective services, and family services.As of November of 2022 I work full time at The Bradley Center and a Therapeutic Care Provider/Case Manager working with adults, adolescents, and geriatric. I am responsible for providing high quality patient care with mental health assessments and adequate knowledge with crisis intervention. I conduct individual or group therapy with clients utilizing activities to cope with their mental health or substance abuse.
