At Actis, he focused on real estate investments in the commercial, retail, hospitality, and industrial asset classes across West and Central Africa.Mr. Giwa began his career at Morgan Stanley in the Investment Banking and Private Equity Divisions in New York and London. He worked advising high value U.S. and European investors and was involved in over USD$8,000,000,000 (eight billion Dollars) of transactions. Mr. Giwa also spearheaded Morgan Stanley’s entry into the Nigerian real asset industry.Mr. Giwa currently serves as an Independent Director to the Board of Captivision (Nasdaq: CAPT and CAPTW); the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of architectural display glass.In addition, he is a senior advisor to the President of a Development Finance Institution with a total of over USD$11,000,000,000 (eleven billion Dollars) of assets under management.Mr. Giwa holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Business Administration(BBA) in Finance (with honours) from Howard University, where he was a Morgan Stanley – Richard B.
