وما توفیقی الا بااللہ Alhamdolillah, I am very pleased and humbled to share that I have started my PhD at the Centre for Desert Agriculture, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In my PhD project, I will be unravelling the wild genetic diversity of Chenopodium speceis for improvement of heat stress tolerance in quinoa. I would like to express my deep gratitute to my PI, Prof. Mark Tester and Dr. Vanessa Melino for this amazing opportunity. I am also grateful to all my former teachers, supervisors and colleagues for their immense support and I am thankful to Erasmus Mundus Master's Program in Plant Breeding (emPlant) for all education and training in plant sciences. I have always been interested in plant stress biology and I always aim to make a positive contribution to achieve global food security. This opportunity is offering me everything what I always aimed for and I am super excited and looking forwards to this new chapter in my life!

I did my Master's thesis at SLU, Sweden (Alnarp campus).I performed Genome Wide Association Studies for identification of markers and candidate genes associated with leaf rust and powdery mildew resistance in Nordic spring barley.

I did my master's thesis at Centre for Excellence in Molecular Biology, University of the Punjab. I worked in seed biotechnology lab under supervision of Dr. Bushra Tabassum and Dr. Idrees Ahmed Nasir.My thesis title was: Cloning and transformation of grapes derived chitinase gene in potato plant
