Chemical Inventory Management:Oversee proper documentation and control of chemical inventory and conduct chemical risk assessment in the INPUT cycle of chemical management.Internal Audits:Conduct regular internal audits of chemicals, ensuring compliance with standards.Collaboration with EHS:Work closely with the Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) management team.Environmental Audits:Lead internal environmental audits to ensure compliance and identify improvement areas.Training Programs:Conduct training on safe chemical handling, MRSL & RSL, emergency response plans and chemical spill drills.Online Monitoring:Monitor and report on the Chemical Inventory Management Tool through BHive and BV E-cube.Compliance with Buyer Standards:Ensure compliance with buyer-specific RSL & MRSL to prevent the use of restricted substances.Chemical and Wastewater Testing Coordination and follow up:Communicate with buyers for annual chemical testing purposes (VF Chem-IQ testing) and communicate with ZDHC aggregated laboratories for testing according to ZDHC wastewater guidelines. Safe Chemical Storage:Ensure chemicals are stored safely with proper labeling, secondary containment, and use according to ZDHC CMS TIG and customer guidelines.Output Management: Conduct root cause analysis for wastewater testing report failure, chemical screening test report failure, RSL failure, and prepare corrective/preventive action plan accordingly.Document Management:Verify and maintain MSDS, analyze CAS#, and ensure all necessary certificates are updated. Ensure related certificates for Chemicals like ZDHC ChemCheck, Third party test reports, GOTs, OEKO TEX, and ECO Passport /License (if required) are updated.
