I am an Academic Clinical Lecturer in Cardiology at Queen Mary University of London and Barts Heart Centre, St Bartholomew's hospital.After qualifying from medical school in 2012, I trained in general medicine, gaining membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2015. I completed general cardiology training in Northwest London hospitals and commenced sub-specialisation in cardiac imaging at Hammersmith hospital. In 2020, I was awarded the prestigious British Heart Foundation Pat Merriman Clinical Research Training Fellowship to undertake a PhD at Queen Mary University of London. My clinical and research interests are in hypertension and cardiac imaging. I have a number of committee roles in the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging, British and Irish Hypertension Society and European Society of Hypertension.I am also passionate about patient and public engagement and launched a YouTube channel called 'The Heart Doctor' to raise public awareness of heart disease.
