Name of assignment: Mohmand Dam Hydropower Project, PakistanCost of Project: 1.9 billion US$ Client: WAPDA Main project features: It is multi-purpose dam & will deal with Flood protection, Power generation and Irrigation. The key components of this Dam are as follows:• Concrete Face Rock fill Dam of height 213m & length 760m (5th tallest CFRD Dam in the World)• Reservoir with Gross Storage Volume of 1,594 million Cubic Meters (1.292 MAF)• Powerhouse with an installed capacity of 800 Megawatts• Mohmand Dam Consultants Group (MDCG) is joint venture of six consultant (NESPAK, ACE and MMP of Pakistan, MWH (USA), SMEC International (Australia), Dolsar Engineering Inc. Co. (Turkey)) and nine sub consultant (four foreign and nine local firms). Activities performed:• Prepared & supervised the 3D in Revit and detailed IFC drawings in CAD programs for  spillway chute stilling basin Power intake Inlet & outlet of diversion tunnel  rapid sand filter.• Analysis, design, preparation of concrete out line and Reinforcement drawings for Spillway Gated structure. Upper and lower stilling basin &chute of spillway Diversion tunnel DT-1 & 2 inlet and outlet structure Baffle blocks of stilling basin Miscellaneous structures of water treatment plant  Dam plinth• Stability analysis of following structures  Spillway gated structure. Power intake. Monda headwork  Inlet portal of diversion tunnel DT-1• Analysis, design, and preparation of concrete outline and reinforcement drawings of Irrigation system for Mohmand Dam including irrigation tunnel outlets, culverts, aqueducts, small bridges and head and cross regulators.• 3D Solid modelling , analysis and design of Diversion tunnel DT-1 inlet structure using Sap2000 • Design review of different structures • Design review of diversion tunnel DT-1,2 and 3 dyke • Prepared design memo of spillway gated structure• Quantities calculations of irrigation tunnels • Prepared monthly, progress reports

Cost of Project : 5 billion US$ Date of Start : 2008 Date of Completion: 2018Client : WAPDA Main project features:Neelum Jhelum Hydroelectric Project is located in the vicinity Muzaffarabad (AJ&K) Pakistan. It envisages the diversion of Neelum river water through a tunnel out -falling into Jhelum River. Tunnel is excavated by drill and blast method as well as by TBM. The Powerhouse will be constructed at Chatter Kalas, has installed capacity of 969 MW. The Project will produce 5.15 billion units of electricity annually.Neelum Jhelum Consultants is a joint venture of Montgomery Watson Harza (MWH) of USA, NORPLAN of Norway, NESPAK, ACE and NDC of Pakistan. The execution works are assigned to (CGGC and CMEC) Chinese contractors for civil and mechanical works.
