As the Volunteer Coordinator and administrator for the ASPIRE Case Management Training Program, I am responsible for interviewing new volunteers interested in the training program and facilitating their registration program.

In Feb of 2018, shortly after completing my Office Administration Certificate at BCIT, I began working a member of the grant writing team at MFBCS. More than just writing and submitting grants on behalf of the organization, in this role, I worked closely with program coordinators to be able to better represent their program in funding applications, created and delivered anonymous surveys to participants to assess the success of programs, and ensured that programs were operating within the parameters set by the organization and the funding body.

From 2016 to 2018 I led a Summer School Program for refugee children which aimed to better acclimate them to the Canadian school system which they would be joining in September. As the program coordinator, my primary duties included curriculum development, volunteer recruitment, location scouting, activities planning and reporting to the various stakeholders involved in the program.
