Founder and Executive Director until 2006; currently non-executive President. KIND is a product of the Nigerian democracy movement, which began in 1993. The organization was set up in the U.S. in 1996 to advocate for U.S. support for Nigeria’s democracy movement and to promote human rights in Nigeria. Current responsibilities include strategic planning as well as programme and organizational development; fundraising; and public relations. Developed revenues to $500,000 per annum and introduced leadership training programmes to thousands of women across Nigeria annually as well as the use of theatre to run campaigns to end violence against women. Developed partnerships with the UK Department for International Development, the World Bank, the Open Society Institute West Africa, Cordaid Netherlands, African Women’s Development Fund and others.

The WFC researches, identifies and spreads policy solutions that contribute to sustainable development. Guided by the Council, which consists of 50 right global change-makers from governments, parliaments, civil society, academia, the arts and business, the WFC seeks to represent the voice of future generations. It's work areas include: Ending violence against women and girls; future justice; tights of children; rights of persons with disabilities; climate, energy & cities; food security; sustainable ecosystems; future finance; and peace and disarmament.

Special Adviser to the Governor with responsibility for the Millennium Development Goals portfolio and member of Cabinet. Responsibilities include running the MDGs Office; conceptualizing, developing, implementing and evaluating projects aimed at enabling Ogun State to achieve the goals; tracking progress as well as raising funds for projects. Direct and manage MDG Desk Officers in the relevant Ministries, Departments and Agencies as well as across 20 Local Government Areas. Serve as the State Government representative to the German and Japanese Agencies for International Cooperation, selected Chinese companies and UN agencies.
