I am a passionate Geophysicist, currently Acting as Superintendent in Coal Exploration Operations for BHP, guiding technical aspects, contractual, HSE and operational components of seismic programs. Previously worked as a consultant Geophysicist for BHP exploration operations, leading successful projects with distinctive success that lead to direct hire by BHPIn addition, worked in exploration as a Infield Geophysicist for Terrex Seismic mainly in seismic acquisition & seismic interpretation in search of hydrocarbon by modeling. Earlier on I worked at the Geological Survey of Queensland within the Department of Natural Resources & Mines, specialized in onshore asset research, evaluation and reporting on the energy resource potential of Queensland. My participation in Australian Geophysics sector also includes my role as a Student Liaison Officer for ASEG.I have also been fortunate enough to experience some interesting professional skills prior to working in Australia. These have been as a Geophysicist in Israel, as a Manager for a Technology Group, a security professional working for the US Government and as a Captain in the Israeli Defence Forces. In these environments I learnt to understand the importance of building relationships, stakeholder management and strong, fair leadership.Further, my experiences in the private sector have taught me the importance of understanding the commercial objectives in all my professional environments and I have enjoyed proactively conceiving and implementing workplace initiatives and strategies.I look forward to further to challenge my knowledge and expertise to further progress professionally.
