Since June 2020, I have been serving as the Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Asset Management in Germany. I am honored to be entrusted with this role and proud to work at “The sustainable investor for a changing world”. We are one of the world’s leading asset managers, operating in more than 30 countries and managing well over 500 billion AUM. I am passionate about sustainable growth and the disruption and change the asset management industry is facing. This drives my priorities as well as our priorities as a firm to embrace sustainability and technology and to design savings and retirement solutions relevant for the demographic evolution ahead of us. I am convinced of the deep transformation that needs to happen in our industry to face the challenges of this new paradigm.Since joining BNPP AM in 2020, I have become increasingly aware of the decisive role we can play as an asset manager in the reallocation of capital to a low-carbon, inclusive, and environmentally friendly growth model. This is why I believe our focus has to be on achieving long-term sustainable investment returns for our clients.With over 30 years of experience in asset & wealth management and in investment banking, I began my career as a strategy consultant and then Executive Assistant to the CEO of DB. I moved over to the product development and sales side in Equity Derivatives and Structured products before assuming my first executive management role in 2013, in which my focus was on running product management and distribution for Asset & Wealth Management. Over the past two decades, I have worked for three leading financial institutions: Deutsche Bank, DWS and now BNP Paribas Asset Management. I am a father of 1, a husband and enjoy football, travelling and food.
