About Hagen Ruff

Although I have spent most of my professional career as an Executive and Entrepreneur in Management Consulting, IT services, and Business Intelligence (BI), I have always maintained a passion for science and engineering, especially in the field of energy technologies.After my BI company was acquired by Sapient Corporation in 2005, I launched and funded an energy technology research company “Chava” in 2008, hiring a team of extremely talented scientists to conduct research in new technologies that go beyond conventional paradigms. Pending any repeatable and scalable results of those R&D investments, we have decided to transform the Small Wind Market for 'point-of-use' power generation with an innovative 25KW Vertical Axis Wind Turbine. The international IEC certifications and market launch have taken a lot longer than initially anticipated, but we are confident that mass production can be initiated during the later part of 2018.In contrast to giant 'utility scale' wind turbines, this new product is slated to increase the acceptance of Small Wind in 'point-of-use' applications at farms, rural communities, small businesses, warehouses, schools, remote administrative buildings, etc., etc. The cost of power with our product will be substantially lower than most of such rural and remote places incur at the moment,
