I am currently an undergraduate student at Appalachian State University, intended to graduate in the fall 2023 with a major in French and Chemistry with a minor in Criminal Justice. I currently work with a team with Dr. Babyak at ASU, researching pesticides and their affects on wastewater. I am also a member of Phi Delta Phi, a French National Honors Society and a Languages, Literatures, and Cultures Departmental Honors student. I have worked for nearly all of my high school and college experience and currently work as a server at a local restaurant. While my work experience within my chemistry major is still growing, the skills I have gained working with customers and associates have helped me to expand my professionalism and ability to communicate among others. I have discovered a new love of conducting research and working in labs and I hope to improve my skills in this area.
