Looking to connect with employers, participant support partners, and other collaborators to develop accessible workforce and economic mobility pathways.Milestones achieved in developing workforce ecosystems in tech and tech adjacent industries in the Pittsburgh region:-Facilitated workforce programs at Academy Pittsburgh and entrepreneurial initiatives at Work Hard Pittsburgh that had a ROI of 6 to 1 for philanthropic funding invested in these ecosystems. The human impact of this is $1.5 million+ in wages earned from job placements and 1099 contract work for communities of people underrepresented in tech in the Pittsburgh region between 2019-2022.-500+ personal pro bono service hours rendered to nonprofits and small businesses 2016-2022-Facilitated a training partnership pilot in 2021 between Academy Pittsburgh and Apprenti PGH (Housed at Fortyx80, the nonprofit arm of the Pittsburgh Technology Council) to provide diverse participants with paid training opportunities that lead directly into paid apprenticeships with the intent to hire at organizations who are regional leaders in the tech industry.-Oversaw the launch of a Digital Marketing Bootcamp in 2021 to expand Academy Pittsburgh's bootcamp training to include tech adjacent digital marketing programming. Collaborators on this initiative include Staunton Farm Foundation, The Warhol, New Sun Rising, RK Mellon Foundation, and individuals contributors including curriculum content writers, PA Department of Education compliance specialists, and instructors.-Authored a grant in 2020 that was awarded $130,000 in direct support for nonprofit workers to receive fully subsidized digital marketing training.-Successfully applied and maintained compliance for Academy Pittsburgh to be on the PA Careerlink's ETPL (Eligible Training Providers List) directory from 2019-2022 which empowers accepted program participants who identify as unemployed or underemployed to receive funds up to $5000 per individual for Academy PGH's job seeking training services.-Provided market research evidence in 2019 that successfully supported Academy Pittsburgh's Private School License via the PA Department of Education's application process to be able to train and place jr. developers into entry level roles in tech.
