Hagit Cohen is a mixed media artist who works primarily with digital photography, incorporating images of ritually made objects, paintings and elements from nature such as stones wood and flowers. Hagit holds an MFA in Imaging Arts from the Rochester Institute of Technology, where she also taught fine art photography for several years. Upon completion of studies at Rochester, she developed her career in interactive multimedia as an illustrator, art director and producer. She participated extensively in productions of interactive educational games and worked on design and development of interactive content for clients such as Apple, American Greetings, Lucas Arts Learning, Warner New Media and South Western Bell.Hagit Cohen has exhibited her artwork in Tel Aviv, Rochester NY, Toronto, Los Angeles, Berkeley, Oakland and San Francisco. Her images have appeared in New Media Magazine, Computer Artist, On Line Design, The Color Mac and I.D.
