NEXTAI Solutions is a recently established entity within the Grupo Formula conglomerate. This new venture is set to specialize in the distribution of Live and Video on Demand (VOD) content. Its primary partners and platforms include cable operators and streaming services such as OTT, CTV and Fast Channels. NEXTAI Solutions is actively involved in designing and implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI) platforms. These platforms are geared towards the automated generation of content, which can revolutionize the way media is produced, customized, and delivered to diverse audiences.Achievements:•Define the corporate strategy that guarantees the profitability and growth of the new business unit.•Lead the sales team towards achieving and exceeding the company's revenue targets.•Negotiation with distributors and content creators to secure rights and monetization within the streaming platform (TVOAI).•Created NAT, MAX and SOFI new virtual news presenters using Generative AI for realistic and human-like voice, image, and video animation. This was the first of its kind in Latin America.•Conceived and developed a news AI portal engineered to provide daily news updates, encompassing automated image creation, news collection, and content condensation, all without human intervention (tvoainews.com).•Developed an AI platform that generates avatars, voices, and animations, enabling real-time interaction with humans.•Successfully commercialized the Teleformula channel in the US market, generating revenue of 2.7 million USD.•Deployed new FAST Channel distribution with major platforms (Roku, Samsung TV Plus, Pluto TV, and Canela TV). Allowing us to reach more than 50 million potential users.•Launched a new App for VOD, AVOD, SVOD, and live streaming on CTV platforms (Apple TV, Fire stick, Google Chromecast, Roku, Samsung, LG, IOS, Android).•Video podcast production with original topics such as sexual therapy, problems in adolescents, eating disorders, etc.

Main responsibility is to ensure the smooth operation of the IT and Engineering division across all business units. I have achieved several accomplishments in this domain, some of which include:• Developed an AI platform that generates avatars, voices, and animations, enabling real-time interaction with humans.• Led a team that conceptualized and constructed new headquarters, radio, and television studios, headend, and data center at a new location. This initiative resulted in a hybrid work setup and a more efficient way to produce live and on-demand content, leading to significant cost savings of over 2 million dollars for the company.• Implemented a new radio and television system catering to news and entertainment, incorporating features such as playout, MAM, NRCS, editing, archiving, among others. This new system has improved efficiency, effectiveness, and provided a better experience for viewers and listeners.• Drove a complete transformation of a struggling IT Department that was negatively impacting the business. Stabilized back-office applications, network, and data center infrastructure within a year. Defined the strategy, rebuilt the team, and aligned applications, IT security, and monitoring solutions with business needs.• Migrated corporate applications to a multi-vendor cloud environment such as AWS and Azure.• Re-engineered corporate and regional communications (26 cities) LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VoIP, VPN's.

Responsibilities encompassed IT operation of all business units: TV Azteca, Azteca America, Azteca Internet, Promo-Espacio among others, I had an operating budget of 8.5 million usd. and a head count of 200 people. Assess the capabilities of existing systems and business processes with the goal of identifying improvement opportunities.Accomplishments:Saved a significant amount of money in Capex for the right execution of the following projects:•5 million dollars in IT infrastructure. Implemented cloud computing architecture (AWS and Rackspace).•500 kusd. a year in bank commissions. Designed and developed a management module in the treasury system.•500 kusd. in SAP consulting. Internally developed interfaces with SAP ERP 6 and satellite systems.•250 kusd. in maintenance and support. Negotiated and consolidated corporate contracts for master playout and graphics solution.•Saved 3 million dollars in licenses and consulting. Developed a commercial system for TV Azteca, Azteca America and Pay TV. Implemented a board meeting system using SAP BW a CRM, IPM (Intellectual property management solution), Implemented SAP in TV Azteca and subsidiaries.•Increased Internet traffic by 300%. Designed, developed a sports and news Apps for mobile devices (IOS and Android). •Reduced 90% the time spent in commercial programming for INE (Instituto Nacional Electoral). Developed an automatic spot placement module (more than 3 million spots annually).•Slashed in 70% the telephony expenses and eliminated long distance costs. Deployed VoIP solution in all remote offices.•Developed an outstanding media asset management application for news, sports and entertainment.•Designed and rolled out new architecture for video editing and playout to guarantee redundancy and load balancing, increased uptime from 90 to 99.9% (Avid, Harmonic, Final Cut)
