Army Software Development DFCS Team (Digital Flight Control System)Position Summary: Develop and maintain embedded C software for the MQ-1C Gray Eagle unmanned aircraft system.- Added, removed and updated interfaces for the flight computer to communicate with adjacent flight components such as GPS Sensors, IFF Transponders, and Anti-Jam devices using MIL-STD-1553 Bus protocol.- Developed Python test scripts to utilize in-house test tools for automated unit/integration/regression testing.- Hands on experience with hardware in the SIL, connecting/troubleshooting/analyzing cables/messages, loading software on real hardware, network file transfers, port configurations.

Common Software AVSim TeamPosition Summary: Develop and maintain simulation solutions for both engineering testing and crew training of several unmanned aircraft systems. Support engineers during HWIL testing in the System Integration Lab with relation to the AVSim software.- Investigated root cause for significant issues found in the field or development as part of CAPA (Corrective and Preventative Action) to determine if any changes should be made to current processes, which would improve software quality.- Developed software to simulate different aircraft components.

Army Software Development VSM Team (Vehicle Specific Module)Position Summary: Develop and maintain C/C++ and Qt embedded applications for MQ-1C Gray Eagle Ground Control Station.- Developed overnight tests using Xnee/AutoHotKey scripts in order to reproduce software defects.- Created a Live CD w/ Python script to automate the OS install process for development and in the field.- Managed IA (Information Assurance) updates for the software OS.
