My practice is focused on municipal litigation including land-use planning, development and expropriation law. I represent my clients at the Ontario Land Tribunal, administrative tribunals, and all levels of court in Ontario. I act for municipalities, conservation authorities, developers and private landowners.Some of the specific issues that I assist with include: appeals to the OLT and TLAB; official plan and zoning by-law amendments; minor variance and consent applications; site plan approvals and agreements; minister's zoning orders, expropriations; development charge matters, conflict of interest and municipal election matters; prosecuting individuals who have been charged under the Provincial Offences Act; drafting municipal bylaws and resolutions, and providing advice and representation in freedom of information and privacy matters.

I completed my articles with HGRGP and was hired as an associate lawyer following my call to the Bar in 2013.I dealt with appeals to the Ontario Municipal Board (OMB); official plan amendments; site plan approvals and agreements; species at risk and environmentally protected lands; actions by and against municipal corporations; prosecuting and defending individuals in provincial offences matters; drafting municipal bylaws and resolutions, freedom of information and privacy matters; applications and representation at the Committee of Adjustment; expropriation cases; and all matters under the Long Term Care Homes Act and its Regulations. I also provided advice to municipalities, developers, owners, and objectors on planning and development matters. I also practiced in the areas of employment law, general litigation and landlord tenant disputes.
