In this project based role, I led the design, development and implementation of an integrated safety, environmental and quality management system to meet relevant regulatory obligations and other business requirements. A core focus was on drafting and implementing company policies, procedures and other documentation to meet international standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001) in addition to legal and other requirements.

During this 4 week secondment, I had the opportunity to work in the Workplace Relations, Employment and Safety team and the Corporate Advisory team.

The Griffith Uni-Key Mentoring program is designed to contribute to the Griffith community by supporting eligible undergraduate students in their first year of study to make a smooth transition to university. In this role I assisted a small group of first year university students from various cultural and equity backgrounds to transition to university life through mentor sessions.
