This experience has reinforced my commitment to precision and detail, qualities I consider paramount in the world of science.As an intern at Aldevron, I delved into the world of bio-manufacturing, where I acquired practical knowledge in the production of biotechnological products. This internship allowed me to apply my research skills and troubleshoot intricate processes, further enriching my laboratory toolkit.My academic journey at Minnesota State University Moorhead has been equally enriching. Through my research projects, I've explored a wide range of topics, from investigating the impact of Eugenol on A549 lung cancer cells to utilizing CRISPR gene editing to create penicillin-resistant E. coli. My in-depth studies have cultivated expertise in data analysis, scientific writing, and experimental design. I've also delved into the fascinating world of bacteriophages, identifying optimal growth temperatures and collaborating effectively with team members.Currently, I am engaged in groundbreaking research, collaborating with my professor to explore the anatomical and behavioral repercussions of changes in area patterning within the visual thalamus. This research delves into the intricacies of neuroscience, histology, immunohistochemistry, genotyping, and mouse handling, offering an exciting avenue for scientific discovery.My journey in the scientific realm is driven by an insatiable curiosity to uncover answers and make meaningful contributions to our understanding of the natural world.
