M.Sc. EE - Electric Energy Systems obtained at Technical University of Denmark (DTU). My M.Sc. thesis covered power supply and Protection systems for railway networks. My thesis objectives integrated the following:• Improved design for railway feeder substation scheme design • Application of system protections for the special design power transformers and cable systems and • Implementation of Hardware-In-The-Loop simulation to test the protection system for the railway applications using Real Time Digital Simulation (RTDS). During the course of M.Sc. study in DTU, I have gained a detailed understanding of: • Power systems• Load flow analysis• Power transformers• MV, HV and EHV Cable systems• Fault calculation, analysis and disturbance records treatment • Protection systems and• Instrument components. B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering at Basra University – Iraq. The main objectives were within High voltage networks and Power supply, machinery and electronic. My graduation project title was Transient response of zero-current Quasi Resonant Converters. The primary focus of the project was to obtain a proper design of ZCQ-RC with constant output voltage.
