I worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Scania Bus department (RBPD). My work mainly consisted of problem-solving involving a great deal of a detective job and design modifications. It is a cross-functional role that requires great communication skills due to the fact that many departments are involved such as production, purchasing, R&D pre-development department and the actual customer. The assignments types varied from Field quality assignments, improvements assignments requested by production, to solving production stop deviations.

The program aimed to assist foreign-born teenagers who are new to Sweden in integrating into Swedish society and connecting with industry professionals.This experience allowed me to improve my mentoring skills, listening skills, and made me feel like I was part of a solution to help these teenagers succeed. My hope is that I was able to inspire them to reach their full potential and ignite a passion within them to become the best they can be.
