I am responsible for managing the technical support team for the European arm of Couchbase. * Providing detailed technical analysis and debugging support for our international customers.* Handling strategic clients and priority case escalations* Managing the local team of technical support engineers

• Co-ordinated a global team of over 30 engineers across 5 countries (UK, USA, India, Japan, France) throughout multiple different units within IBM.• Created and implemented a consistent, cross-team test and development process and delivery schedule.• Responsible for the overall design, QA plan, task management and status reporting.• Delivered on schedule to original plan date.

• Managed the development and test of numerous projects for customers including Apple, Lockheed Martin and SGI. The technology deployed by Apple as Rosetta has been used by tens of millions of people worldwide.• For each engagement I was responsible for integrating Transitive’s test and development process with our customers• Achieved a 60% performance improvement for a Rosetta benchmark – our ‘best-case’ performance target. I helped negotiate the terms of contract, staffed the team and provided our analysis, optimisation and test strategies. • Negotiated contract with major US defence contractor, staffed the team, established plan and milestones. Delivered prototype on time and to the full contract specification.• Determined the scope, requirements and timeline for ambitious research project. The technology proved crucial in company’s acquisition by IBM.• Authored numerous documents including requirements specifications, design documents, test plans, training material and end-user manuals.
