Hey there!I am a recent graduate of the Ecosystem Management Technology program at Sir Sandford Fleming College, and am currently continuing my education in third year at Trent University working towards my B.Sc. in Enviornmental and Resource Science.My education has been focussed on exploring holistic approaches to managing the structure, function, and composition of ecosystems, and learning how to engage with environmentally focused organizations who are dedicated to the long term health of the environment. I have gained various practicle skills including project management, species identification, ecosystem monitoring and assessment, and writing professional, scientific documents. I have experience working for Queen Elizabeth II Wildlands Provincial Park and Balsam Lake Provincial Park. As a Backcountry Ranger, I worked as part of a small team maintaining backcountry campsites, assiting the Park Biologist and Park Wardens with ongoing projects for the park. As a Senior Park Cleaner, I performed cleaning and maintenance duties, paticipated in meetings to discuss park management plans, provided recomendations to enhance work procedures in the maintnece department, and supervised summer maintenance students.I am a dedicated individual who strives for success, meeting challenges with determination and enthusisam. I exhibit strong leadership skils, and feel my bubbly, outgoing personality makes me unique. I am eager to learn and excited to continue growing my experience in the evironmental sector!
