Providing recommendations for youth-inclusive governance, climate literacy, and a just transition to inform the delivery of a report on "Climate Breakthroughs" to strengthen UNICEF's climate impact initiatives throughout its portfolio, including supporting the organization of the Climate Breakthroughs Conference in Florence, Italy May 2024.

• Managing a team of 60 volunteers from 30+ countries to deliver capacity-building and climate advocacy training reflective of multi-cultural needs to young people in frontline communities• Awarded $20,000 to support the world’s only youth-led analysis of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) from a gender and intergenerational equity lens through coordinating in-country mentorship, knowledge-sharing webinars, and political networking for advocacy• Shifting the narrative of climate activism to focus on local leadership and community-centered action through designing COP training centered on actionable outcomes for civil society and building a Climate Champions program for young leaders to act on the climate crisis around the world• Managing grants and building partnerships with like-minded organizations, such as UNESCO and WWF

• Uplifting the perspectives, experiences, and voices of youth on the frontlines of climate change, organizing and participating in bilateral discussions with high-level UN officials and policy-makers regarding youth perspectives on the Paris Agreement• Acted as the Project Manager for the 2021 Action for Climate Empowerment (ACE) Youth Forum through coordinating weekly team meetings, high-level speakers, virtual engagement and outreach, and event logistics, leading to the engagement of 500 participants and 10 UN Representatives• Facilitated discussions on the domestic infrastructure for the ACE Work Programme at the ACE Youth Forum to provide negotiators with ACE implementation ideas at COP26 UN Climate Negotiations

• Managing and writing the island's Climate Adaptation Strategy using scientific research, best practices from other cities, and community feedback• Piloting the use of the award-winning Climate Ready Games in classrooms created during my AmeriCorps service through partnering with local organizations • Launching a Climate Champions program to expand climate change education and awareness-raising between community members, organizations, and the City•Leading the integration of an equity screen into all City projects and proposals• Managing 11 AmeriCorps VISTAs by organizing check-ins, coordinating monthly volunteer days in our community, and convening conversations with program mangers

• Led the design and implementation of CCH’s community engagement strategy for the Climate Adaptation Plan through coordinating a community partnership to receive a $25,000 grant for community-based partner events in frontline communities • Researched, piloted, and finalized the creation of two climate adaptation games to inform community members about climate risks and empower understanding of adaptation actions• Received the American Planning Association Hawai'i Chapter for Public Education and Outreach for the Climate Ready games• Co-drafted the Climate Adaptation Strategy through best-practice research and design support to ensure it prioritizes equity• Designed an equity tool via best-practice research, community inputs, and conversations with other City leaders to ensure projects, policies, and budgets center equity that is now being piloted at the City

• Analyzed the timeliness of fishery disaster relief policies in the U.S. to inform science-based recommendations for amending U.S. fishery policies• Designed complex system diagrams to model the impacts of the intersections of fishery-related policies across the supply chain and food system

• Assisted in designing the organization’s long-term strategic plan and formal pitch presentation, resulting in the Biden Administration announcing their support for the initiative at the Leaders Climate Summit• Coordinated ten webinars focused on how islands can support each other in recovering from the pandemic while fulfilling the SDGs and building adaptive capacity to climate impacts (e.g. rising sea levels), engaging 2000+ international participants and high-level speakers, such as the Prime Minister of Curacao and the President of the Federated States of Micronesia• Produced a successful application to host an event that launched the Network at the Sustainable Development Action (SDG) Zone during the United Nations General Assembly in 2020

• Evaluated and revised the university’s Climate Resilience Plan through student and staff workshops, surveys, and scientific research, resulting in the creation of 58 metrics and 21 indicators for tracking climate resilience to extreme heat, flooding, and changing precipitation patterns• Worked with City partners to implement urban forestry and carbon offset projects by coordinating the planting of 1,500 native trees, verification events, and greenhouse gas accounting• Designed the annual sustainability literacy survey and analyzed over 10,000 survey responses using Tableau to inform priority sustainability focus areas• Created a resilience training administered to campus-community members, increasing the resilience literacy rate on campus as a tool for enhancing our community’s ability to withstand the impacts of climate change• Wrote a case study on ASU's process of achieving the Second Nature Climate Resilience Commitment that was published by AASHE and the Journal of Green Building

• Implemented a composting system by establishing a partnership with a local composting company and orchestrating the use of $1,300 in grant funding, resulting in the avoidance of 1000 lbs. of food waste and in the long-term investment in composting by Hillel

• Produced 30 interactive lesson plans on community resilience and sustainability added to SolarSPELL’s offline solar powered library, increasing access to relevant localized educational content in resource-constrained communities in East Africa and the Pacific Islands• Drafted 10 video scripts to teach professionals how to navigate the information on the device, use the lesson plans created, and design their own activities

• Researched "How Corporate Leaders can Learn from Beavers and Termites" learning that nature offers insight into new strategies corporate transformational leaders can adopt as they seek to transition to more sustainable practices• Presented my completed poster in a professional setting in front of dozens of sustainability professors

• Developed a 40 page compost manual for residents in Costa Rica that will be produced by CORCLIMA in the fall of 2019, greatly improving upon the organizations climate change mitigation strategy• Interviewed 8 community members in Spanish and English about their compost systems, increasing community involvement in the creation of the compost manual and enhancing my Spanish speaking skills• Presented the compost manual to a room of 60 community members from Monteverde, Costa Rica.

• Demonstrated strong communication and relationship building skills, by organizing media mentions, crafting articles/excerpts, and interviewing dozens of alumnus and Sustainability Scientists about their student experiences in sustainability and their research• Created videos for the promotion of ASU’s School of Sustainability events, speaker presentations,and classes

• Crafted an original fact sheet distributed to millions of people in San Antonio, educating the community about sustainability and the role they can take in achieving the city’s sustainability goals• Researched strategies for mitigating the Urban Heat Island Effect in San Antonio to inform the use of $1 million in grant funding in partnership with the University of Texas at San Antonio
