I have always had a passion for learning everything about Psychology. Throughout the years, I have developed a love for Social Work and helping people. I am currently a care coordinator for Person Centered Services. I used to work as a Direct Support Professional for four years which allowed me to work directly with individuals who have disabilities. My job as a care coordinator has allowed me to help people increase their independence and maximize their quality of life. My current goal is to obtain my Bachelors Degree in Psychology at Buffalo State College. After this, I would like to pursue a Master's Degree in Social Work. I am currently interning at Cazenovia Recovery which is a drug rehab for men. I really am grateful for this experience as it has expanded my experience in the field to a different area and has allowed me to work in an environment that I am not familiar with. I am actively looking at the different fields and jobs with Social Work and trying to see the best place that I could thrive in.
