During my 10-week internship on the Analytics/Actuarial team in the Risk Advisory department at Marsh, I completed two projects. The first was a collaborative group project, where I worked with five fellow interns from across the country to develop a request for proposal for a prospective client. Through in-depth research, we identified the company's key risks and showcased Marsh's analytical capabilities by offering tailored solutions. The second was an individual project where I developed a model to predict the loss potential (both frequency and severity) for Fiduciary Claims given a set of company inputs.

Collaborated with pension actuaries to maintain complete and accurate pension plan records for defined benefit plan clients. Conducted benefit projections for both retired and employed clients to help with financially informed decision making; submitted pension adjustment/ reversals; updated asset reconciliations. Sat for two Society of Actuary exams: Financial Mathematics (Exam FM) and Probability (Exam P)

Taught high school students, from over 400 districts across North America, math and computer science ; edited high school essays and provided constructive feedback. Earned two promotions based on positive feedback from both students and managers

Streamlined an independent research project, in Dr. Thomas Shultz's lab for Neural and Simulated Cognition, focusing on was simulating and analyzing number comparison tasks to support pre-existing psychological test results.

Designed and developed a CNN iceberg tracker using AI techniques in MATLAB for marine safety and navigation; generated over 60, 000 radar images used to trained AI agent.
